Position: Freight Forwarding Clerk – Logistics
Pay Range: $48K-53K/Y
Job Type: Permanent
Location: CA – South Bay
Job Descriptions:
– Arranges payment of freight fees and other associated charges.
– Keeps track of shipping status using assigned systems.
– Issues invoices to customers according to quotations mutually agreed.
– Updates standard operation procedures (SOPs).
– Obtains, checks and prepares any required documentation to meet customer and insurance requirements
– Other Duties as required
Requirements:
– High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or more than one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of higher education and experience.
– General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, personal computer, printer, scanner, etc.
– Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office.
– Vehicle driving requirements/Valid Driver License
– Japanese and English language skills – reading, writing, and speaking
