Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm (1h lunch)
Pay Range: $32/hr.

Job Description:
- Support the Licensing Manager in overseeing daily department operations and priorities.
- Monitor project assignments to ensure licensing tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Serve as a first-line resource for juniors, escalating issues to the Manager or Director as needed.
- Manage assigned licensing and permitting projects for new and existing locations.
- Review, prepare, and submit license and permit applications and renewals for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate inspections, hearings, and communications with regulatory agencies and external partners.
- Review team work product to ensure quality and adherence to department standards.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing support of department staff.
- Be mindful of fees and invoices to ensure timely processing and recording.
- Communicate project status, risks, and workload updates to the Licensing Manager.
- Assist with maintaining and improving department processes, workflows, and documentation.
- Step in to support Manager coverage and departmental needs as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of licensing, permitting, and regulatory compliance processes, or has transferrable skills from another industry or professional environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lead by example while remaining hands-on with project execution
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)College degree preferred
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in licensing, permitting, or a related field preferred
