Title: Business Development Representative

Location: CA – South Bay
Work Style: In Person / hybrid
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00AM. to 6:00PM
Pay Range: $70K-75K/Y + Bonus
Other: Company Provided Phone / laptop

Job Description:
- B2B Sales to US companies
- Sales of company products and products of other companies imported from Japan
- Meetings with customers and distributors
- Provide training to distributors and customers on-site (visits to factories, R&D, etc.)
- Cold Calling for new business development
- Research new customers and utilize leads from distributors
- Market Research and participating in industry exhibitions
- Interpretation and translation services as needed
- Participation in sales meetings in office (1 time/week)
- Periodic reporting of expected sales quantities and amounts (1 time/week)
- Creation of sales targets (1 time/year)
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements
- Negotiation, closing, and teamwork skills
- Be able to frequently travel on business trips
- Business development skills
- Fluent in the English language (Read/Write/Speak/Listen)
- Prefer individuals who have an understanding of Japanese business culture.
- Conversational Japanese language skills are a plus, but not required
- Prior experience with liquid filtration products, wine production machinery, or ink jet printer industry experience would be strongly considered.
- Prior experience with other industrial consumables such as industrial filters will be strongly considered
- Must have a valid driver’s license
