Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (30 min unpaid lunch) (8 hours per day)
Pay Range: $65,000 (exact)
Job Description:
- Performs work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult or technical in nature- topics may cover recycling, sales and or procurement of different commodities- metallic, non-metallic, PGMs, batteries or others.
- Serves as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, proactively addressing potential problems before they impact on the client relationship.
- Track account performance metrics and usage patterns, maintain detailed records of all client interactions and activities.
- Inventory management and teamwork with the warehouse operation- may require travel to operation site.
- Effectively and proactively communicate with suppliers and vendors.
- Striving for excellence in customer satisfaction.
Preparation of regular reports on account status and growth opportunities. - Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support new business development and project activities, not limited to recycling.
- Creating projects data base with specified tools.
Job Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to perform basic Internet research.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools preferred- ability to learn/adapt to new software systems.
- Must be able to fluently speak, write and read in English.
- Ability to read, write legibly and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Communication may include domestic suppliers and customers or Japanese suppliers and customers.
- Basic logistics knowledge required.
- Basic accounting tasks such as preparing quotations and POs, understanding of A/R and A/P, invoicing, others.
- Basic supply chain management such as engagement with customers and suppliers.
- Engagements may include topics related to logistics, sales, customer claims, others.
- Knows and applies fundamental concepts and procedures
- May travel to customer or supplier locations.
- Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory related activities to safely import and/or export any commodities.
- Other duties may be assigned.
