Job Description

1) Analyzing forecast from the largest customer companyCompare last forecast and the latest forecast to find out differences in between.Estimate monthly sales based on the latest forecast.Ask customers any questions on forecast which needed for our smooth production planning including missing/incomplete information in the forecast.Communicate with other teams to collect missing/additional information which are required for production planning.2) Coordinate with multiple production entitiesDistribute the forecast with own analysis and findings.Lead discussion of how to reflect the latest forecast into each production entity’s production planning3) Manages and coordinates multiple purchase orders and the related logistical aspectsReceive multiple purchase orders for multiple different projects/delivery locations every week.Closely monitor status of production, shipment to warehouse and shipment from warehouse.Reflect change in priority of production and delivery based on close communication with customer, and work with production entities and logistics partner to reflect such change in priority in timely manner enable deliveries to be made without delay.4) Handle ERP (D365) systemInput purchase order, issue sales order for production, sprit or revise sales order along with delivery schedule.Input and update stock, delivery information in the system.Strongly encouraged to propose improvement how to utilize D365’s functions based on actual work flow and needs.5) Handle BOM (bill of material), production planning, and labor purchase order transaction for group company.For specific production entity, based on communication with personnel of such entity, input/update BOM in system, and issue production planning and labor purchase order in timely manner.In the D365 system, transfer the finished goods from such production entity to logistics partner’s warehouse for timely asset management.Reconcile shortages at factory.Reconcile finished goods inventory at logistics partner’s warehouse.6) Continued improvement activitiesConstant evaluation of systems and processes to look for ways and/or methods to improve on current practices.Involvement with customer on projects related to system and process improvementsContinually expanding knowledge base within D3657) Interaction with other internal and external employees8) Develop and prepare executive/administrative reports as directed
Requirements
- Minimum 4year college degree, with an emphasis on Business Administration, Logistics Management or Project Management preferred. Equivalent work experience within a professional or technical field such as business or engineering and relating to the fiber optic industry will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience within a supply chain management, project management or production management.
- Ability to process large amounts of email/chat traffic.
- Ability to efficiently communicate with others by summarizing problem, question, status and so on, unlike just forwarding e-mail or chat message without explanation.
- Willingness to work as a team, providing leadership to the department.
- Extremely well organized and must demonstrate some Project Management skills
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft products especially Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience would be preferable
