Pay Range: $150K-160K/Y

Location: Los Angeles/Orange County, CA area or Chicago, IL area
(working remotely for the most part with business travel and reporting to base branch location for meetings, etc.)
Business Travel: range from 40% – 50%
Job Descriptions:
Under the direction of the Vice President of National Sales Division (“NSD”), the Senior Director of National Sales is responsible for aligning the National Sales initiatives and strategies with corporate goals and objectives. The Senior Director of NSD’s mission is to coach, develop, and manage a successful national sales team of sales personnel in an effort to provide consistent sales revenue and growth for existing and new customer accounts for the US and Japan (US based subsidiaries) businesses. The Senior Director of National Sales will proactively seek and acquire new customer business opportunities. Ongoing strong logistics sales network of customer and professional relationships is required.
The position will work closely and in conjunction with the Vice President, NSD to develop sales direction and strategies to ensure current and future business development and success. A major initiative for the Senior Director, National Sales is to maximize new customer sales opportunities across the corporation. The position will focus sales on key corporate business development initiatives and objectives set by the Vice President, National Sales, Leadership Team, and corporation.
The Senior Director, National Sales will align sales initiatives and action plans with NSD forecasts and budgets. The Senior Director, National Sales will work closely with our Marketing company initiatives and administer the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
· Management and deployment of sales team members and processes
· Cultivate and network with current and new customers to provide sales opportunities
· Conduct customer calls and visits to develop sales prospects
· Administrate and Identify new sales opportunities.
· Development and implementation of action plan to achieve sales goals and objectives.
· Other duties as necessary
Requirements:
· Bilingual (English/Japanese) reading, writing, and verbal proficiency at business professional level of communication, required
· Education: BA/BS undergraduate degree in a business related field.
· Minimum of 10-plus years of sales experience within the transportation, logistics, supply chain management industry.
· Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Ability to go to office location as needed and be able to travel throughout the United States as needed
