A trading company in Elk Grove Village, IL is looking for a Sales Support Specialist.
Job Title: Sales Support Specialist
Pay: $22 – 30/H
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 9AM – 6PM
Job Type: Perm

Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for creating, stamping, separating, proofing for accuracy, and routing invoices for delivery
- Work with the sales teams to ensure every invoice sent out is accurate
- Work with sales manager and driver manager to prioritize routes with delivery restrictions and accommodations
- Expedite prioritized routes
- Resolve inconsistencies with sales teams
- Calculate daily invoices in accordance with companies reporting data
- Conduct marketing to expand sales
- Market Research and analysis
- Post outgoing invoices and match calculations daily
- Maintain proper filing and record keeping procedures
- Properly document warehouse non-resellable items including circulation of weekly warehouse reports to staff
- Promote Sales using social media , email, phone call, etc.
- Planning and drafting of promote sales
- Creation and aggregation of sales data working with IT and Submit it to the appropriate party as needed
- Preparation of LDR report daily
- Attends Company events and functions outside of normal working hours
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Obligation to answer to all management as requested
- Assists as Will Call relief
- Collect payment by cash, check, or credit card and generate receipts for will call customers
- Answers company phone and directs calls appropriately
- Acts as tertiary relief for Invoice Clerk
- Updates and prepares all materials regarding products and promotions/sales events – Monthly Sales Flyer
- create, maintain, and update social media content
- Other duties as required from manager
- Obligation to answer to all management as requested
Requirements:
- Business level English – read/write/speak/listen
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload
- Associates Degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred
- Japanese food related industry working experience plus
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Basic mathematical knowledge – markups, discounts, currency, etc.
- 10-Key functioning at experienced level
- Problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Professional, courteous communication and interpersonal skills required
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Advanced computer skill in advertising field, excel, power point, etc
