Job Description
Seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the freight forwarding sales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain solutions, coupled with strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight forwarding sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and assess competition.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to clients.
- Track and report sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Strong understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
