A Trading company in South Bay, CA is looking for a Sales Executive (JE)
• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
• Identifies sales prospects and contacts them and other accounts as assigned.
• Contacts potential and existing customers both by phone and in person on a daily basis.
• Determines customers’ needs and budgets; plans a sales strategy to sell the products.
• Conducts sales presentations and introduces promotional products to both existing & potential customers.
• Develops sales relationship with customers by following up frequently especially when quotations are submitted.
• Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from sales activities.
• Communicates with existing and potential customers seeking sales opportunities as well as identifying market trends.
• Develops the sales strategies for designated areas, and updates the strategies frequently to match the Management’s decisions.
• Develops sales and action targets and submits monthly action plan; Actively Implements the strategic sales plan accordingly.
• Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer relationships: keeps the Management informed.
• Plans and attends trade shows.
• Ensures to collect all A/R, and follows up the customers when the payment is late.Purchasing
• Searches inventory records to determine if the products on hand is in sufficient quantity.
• Develops new suppliers and business relationship.
• Prepares and maintains supplier price lists and keeps them up-to-date.
• Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records.
• Coordinates appropriate methods needed to distribute products in a cost effective manner to and from the supplier both domestically and internationally.
• Assures that the ordered products are delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company.
• Forecasts and reports the quantities and amounts of the products required to be purchased.
Customer Support
• Responsible for answering customers’ questions and inquiries about the products.
• Stays involved and works closely with customers for smooth transactions.
• Receives and processes orders, provides information regarding current pricing, changes in service, discontinuance of items, and shipping.
• Identifies and resolves client concerns; Resolves customers’ complaints via phone and/or email.
Other & Miscellaneous
• Translates documents from Japanese to English and vice versa
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
• Maintains good communication with management, office staff members and outside contacts.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Requirements
Education Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Work Experience
• More than one year of related sales experience
Language
• Japanese and English Language skills – fully bilingual (Read/Write/Speak/Listen)Certificates / Licenses
• Driver’s License
