Title: Logistics Planner/Assistant

FLSA: Non-Exempt
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Work Style: In person
Work Hour: Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM (30minute lunch)
Pay Range: $21.63K – $26.44/H
Benefit: Medical, dental, and vision 401k (after one year)
Travel: Occasional Business Trips (a few times per year)
Job Description
- Prepare reports as needed, such as Logistics KPIs, etc.
- Communicate with colleagues, vendors, and other individuals to answer questions and disseminate or explain information as appropriate.
- Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.
- Conduct research on relevant activities (regulations and new systems).
- Maintain and update filing and database systems.
- Greet and attend to guests and visitors.
- Monitor processes, materials, and surroundings.
- Examine documents and data for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards.
- Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information for responding to requests.
- Deliver messages and run errands as needed.
- Provide support for ongoing logistics activities as appropriate.
- Special projects as required
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- 2 – 3 years of working experience preferred
- Prior experience in logistics industry is preferred
- College degree is preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
- Japanese and English language skills required (Read/ Write/ Speak/ Listen)
- Competent with technology and capable of learning
- Basic Excel required
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
