Job Description:
- Oversee operations of multiple units in a food hall with 10-15 stores, ensuring smooth functioning across all locations.
- Optimize operations to improve sales, control costs, and maintain quality in each store
- Manage and standardize menu offerings based on recipes.
- Improve service and product quality to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop menus and plan promotions tailored to the U.S. market.
- Manage central kitchen operations and establish an efficient preparation and delivery process.
- Supervise kitchen staff, optimize the work environment, and ensure strict hygiene control.
- Ensure food safety per HACCP standards and implement risk management measures, aiming for ISO 22000:2018 certification.
- Manage, train, and coordinate shifts for employees, including food managers, kitchen staff, store staff, and logistics staff.
- Recruit, train, and assign staff to standardize operations.
- Develop cooking training and an education system with implemented training programs.
- Implement a strategic approach to budget planning, expense control, and profit maximization for the Food Hall and Central Kitchen.
- Conduct sales analysis and performance evaluations for each store and report findings to management.
- Regularly communicate with the Japan Branch to update the U.S. stores operation.
- Facilitate smooth information exchange and cooperation between U.S. stores and franchisees through the Japan Branch.
- Accurately report local operational status and issues.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. food hygiene standards and business-related laws and regulations.
- Actively participate in additional projects as needed and promptly respond to requests from management.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry
- 5-10 years of management experience
- Leadership, communication skills, problem-solving skills, flexibility
- Japanese-English Bilingual (business level Reading, Writing, and Speaking in both)
- Experience in developing new businesses is a plus
- 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, professional demeanor, good telephone etiquette, able to handle confidential Information with good discretion and excellent customer relations skills.
