Pay Range: $70K – $95K / Y

Description For Accounting Associate:
- Supports the Operations department and Accounting Manager to ensure smooth processing, to complete payments and billing activities related to logistics operations
- Ensure all general ledger accounting functions as well as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing responsibilities are completed timely for all accounting teams through collaboration and communicating the deadlines.
- Assists with the confirmation of sales revenue, manages accounting department schedule such as closing, auditing, meetings, and so on; Follows USA GAAP and operational compliance requirements as necessary Supports Accounting Manager on special projects and workflow Manages and reports cash flow, bank transactions, and cash disbursement to management. Performs audit correspondence
- Ensures timely completion of all general ledger accounting functions, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, by coordinating closely with accounting teams and effectively communicating deadlines.
- Confirms sales revenue and manages the accounting department schedule, including closings, audits, meetings, and related activities.
- Adheres to USA GAAP and operational compliance requirements.
- Supports Accounting Manager with special projects and workflow.
- Manages and reports cash flow, bank transactions, and cash disbursements to management, while performing audit correspondence.
- Coordinate accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy in work performed by subordinate staff and reviewing accounting system transactions;
- Delegate assignments for accounts receivables while troubleshooting accounting problems promptly; report accounts receivable, accounts payable and company exchange rates on a weekly basis and troubleshoots all accounting problems in a timely manner
- Conduct thorough analysis of accounting records to ensure alignment with company strategy and operational needs.
- Prepare detailed financial accounts and records for management review and decision making.
- Compile and evaluate records of past and present operations, financial trends, and cost structures
- Gather and analyze budgeting data to assess and optimize company activities
- Provide strategic recommendations to management based on financial insights and operational assessments
- Provide direction and delegate tasks to subordinate staff
- Review tasks completed by staff for quality and accuracy
- Train staff to increase productivity as necessary
- Provide subordinate staff with regular feedback.
Requirements
- Experience in accounting: 3 to 5 years
- Planning to fill the position sometime in between May or June.
- Skills required: Excel level must be intermediate with experience with pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas.
- Knowledge required: financial closing process, SOX, reporting
- Preference: someone who is willing to work overtime during busy season which is from January to April for annual closing.
