Accounting Associate – Accounting

A manufacturing company in Orange County is looking for an Accounting Associate.

Position: Accounting Associate

Pay Range: $42K/Y

Job Type: Permanent

Location: CA – Orange County

Job Descriptions:

– Account Payable: Enter and update vendor invoices to Sage 50 accounting software in a specified time frame.

– Account Receivable: Enter sales invoices into the Sage 50 accounting software

– Petty Cash: Count all of the cash from the Petty Cash Box and make sure it matches with the Excel spreadsheet for both CA office and NJ office.

– Collection of Aged Receivable: Send statements to the customers. Communicate with customers by phone and email to collect payments for unpaid invoices.

– Filing: File vendor files and invoices in the cabinet and boxes.

– General Office Support when needed: For seminars or special events, support other departments.

– Miscellaneous duties as required

Requirements:

 – 2-year Associate Degree in Accounting or above

 – No work experience is necessary – Training will be provided

 – Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills

 – No experience in Sage 50 Accounting Software necessary –Training will be provided
