Position: Accountant – Accounting
Pay Range: $65K-75K/Y
Job Type: Permanent
Location: CA – Orange County
Job Descriptions:
– Maintain balance sheet and profit and loss accounts for few profit centers
– Reconcile all applicable BS and PL accounts, mainly inventory, AP, AR, prepaid, accruals
– Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly closing tasks
– Review expense reports
– Prepare journal entries
– Prepare bank reconciliations
– Cash management tasks
– Support internal controls tasks
– Support quarterly and yearly closing tasks, including audits
– Support forecast and budgeting tasks
– Inventory accounting
– Support compliance matters
– Prepare reports for management
Requirements:
– 1-4 years G/L experience
– Accounting or Business Degree
– Understanding of month-end/quarter-end, year-end closing process
– Intermediate Excel Skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
– SAP or comparable ERP experience
– Knowledge of inventory accounting
– Japanese speaker a plus
