Asian Pacific Heritage Month

I attended the reception of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, held at Los Angeles City Hall on May 17th. I had a chance to take a picture with Mayor Eric Garcetti. Mayor Garcetti was very friendly and open minded person. He also speaks a little Japanese as he spent one summer in Japan as an exchange student in high school. He always said, âI have my own family in Japanâ. And speaking of family, I actually knew his father, Mr. Gill Garcetti a few years prior to meeting Mayor Eric Garcetti.
